Sylvia Snail and the Speedy Pizza Delivery

Sylvia snail had a pizza delivery service. The sign on the door said, "Please order 24 hours in advance for fast delivery". Everyone loved her pizza and would plan accordingly. They did not mind that it took 24 hours. The pizza was worth the wait.
One day on the way back to the store, Sylvia stumbled upon something glowing on the ground. It was a bean. A magic bean she thought, never having seen a glowing bean before. She wondered if it was a wishing bean? She always wanted to move as fast as the wind instead of slow as a snail. Without thinking, she closed her eyes ate the bean and made a wish.

It was cold, colder then it had been in years. Even though it was almost Spring, it seemed Winter would never end. Stanley was not big, nor too small. He was quite average as birds of his kind went. It would be his first season to pick a mate and he was nervous. What did he have to offer a female that every other bird did not?
Violet was beautiful, in fact the most beautiful bird Stanley had ever seen. He knew she was the one. But, how to impress her? He found a shiny piece of tinfoil a gum wrapper that carelessly blew in the wind. " Oh he said, you don't see that every day in the dead of winter" So he grabbed it in his beak and flew off. The gum wrapper was quite unruly and fell back in his face as he tried to fly upwards...
